Participants will learn the art of twined basketry in this full day workshop. This technique is prolific amongst Indigenous Women from the Top End of Australia. It is used in ceremonies, for hunting practicalities and now for artistic expressions. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as people who have already learnt this technique.  You will be guided to begin playing with the technique in a sculptural way. From wall hangings to sea shells learning this twining technique opens the door to develop concepts.
